loving >> week 122

Hi!

The Love ListHope you had a wonderful first week of June, friends! :) This summer-y weather has me all sorts of happy.

Anyhoo, I’m loving…

Two Dots1 ♥ Two Dots Dots has long been one of my favorite apps {partly because of the gorgeous minimalist designs}, so I was quick to download its “sequel,” Two Dots. My sister and I tested it out yesterday, and we have both declared it a refreshing new take on the original app. I personally love the design of it, and the Dot characters are oh-so cute! While it can become a *tad* addicting, that wouldn’t stop me from recommending it :)

Paper to Petal2 ♥ Paper to Petal: 75 Whimsical Paper Flowers to Craft by Hand This book was featured quite a bit on some of my favorite blogs a while ago, so when I saw it at my local library yesterday, I snatched it up. With incredibly detailed tutorials and vivid photos, the book walks you through various ways to create flowers from paper. The final results are stunning, and just flipping through the pages provides enough inspiration. It’s definitely not an art for the impatient, but I think it will be the perfect summer project to take up!

The Fault in Our Stars{official movie poster}

3 ♥ The Fault in Our Stars This one seemed like an obvious choice this week! While I enjoyed the book quite a bit, I didn’t adore it to the same degree as other fans of John Green; however, I am really excited for the movie. From the previews and trailers I have seen, I have no doubt that Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort will do the beautiful love story justice. I have no plans to see it soon {i.e. this week}, but I hope to catch it sometime this month. Have you already seen, or are you planning to see the movie version of The Fault in Our Stars?

Design Eat Repeat's Free Congratulations Cards4 ♥ Design Eat Repeat’s Free Printables It’s most definitely celebration season, with Father’s Day, summer birthdays, graduation parties, and more to take care of! I’m never one to turn down cute and free printables for that same reason, so Design Eat Repeat’s archive of downloads made my day. From the fun congratulation cards {shown above} to cheeky ice cream cone wrappers, I’ve already bookmarked Melissa’s blog for future reference later in the summer.

Graduation5 ♥ Class of 2014 Our local high school graduation is this weekend, and I am super-duper happy and proud of all my friends and brother of the Class of 2014 for their accomplishment! I love them all dearly, and I wish them nothing but the best :)

Have a great weekend!

Bella

  1. I am SO addicted to two dots right now. I actually didn’t know anyone that played it, so I was so happy seeing this on your list! I love puzzle/strategy type games, and this one has been my go-to game when I’m bored.
