Hi!
I love a good s’more in the summer. Graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows have become a classic combination for camping, bonfires, or just a little pick-me up. Come winter, however, it’s not the safest {or easiest for that matter} idea to make a fire for s’mores, so I was excited to try out the recipe in the recent issue in Country Living. Bite size and oh-so tasty, these marshmallows are dipped in chocolate and graham cracker crumbs. My friends and I made them in fifteen minutes, tops. I bet these would be perfect with a large cup of hot cocoa, wouldn’t you agree?
S’mores Marshmallows Adapted from the February 2013 issue of Country Living
ingredients
- 12 to 15 marshmallows {I used these ones, but they are no longer available.}
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
to make
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Stick cake pop sticks {or something similar} into each marshmallow.
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, then stir until smooth.
- Place the graham crackers crumbs in a separate bowl.
- First dip the marshmallow into the chocolate, then dip into the graham cracker crumbs. Place on the baking sheet to harden.
- Repeat step 5 until all marshmallows are used.
- Once hardened, slip the marshmallows off the sticks for bite-sized treats or leave them on. Whatever works for you! :)
- Enjoy your teeny s’mores treat!
Have a delightful rest of your weekend!
Bella :)
