Hi!
I’m loving…

the help movie
The day after I finished reading The Help, I received the movie as an Easter gift. I’ve only been able to watch the first thirty minutes {homework and activities have kept me busy} but I <3 it so far! Emma Stone is on my favorite young actress list, and I can totally see why I liked her in the first place. It does compare with the book, and it has lived up to my expectation thus far, so now I will just have to see about the next two hours! I am also digging their costumes. Like I said, the 1960′s. Favorite. Time. Period. To learn about.

teen vogue’s may 2012 issue
I have been waiting a whole WEEK for this :) I was expecting it to come last Friday, but today can do. A delightful, jam-packed issue, just like the past few, but this month’s edition was focused on music! That hour reading it was one well-spent, if you ask me. Here are some of the articles that stood out…
- katy perry This was one of the first interviews that I’ve read about Katy Perry, and it made a lovely impression! Katy’s songs are so catchy, and she seems to have a certain dedication to her work. I love that she is down-to-earth, and her fame hasn’t effected her too much. And although I would never wear it in public, she totally rocks the blue hair :)
- selena gomez’s beauty tips I am a huge fan of Selena, especially now that she’s branched out from Wizards! I will have to keep her tips in mind, but I’m really looking forward to her movies coming out this year. Can’t wait!
- one direction’s favorite things Believe me. I am not a One Direction junkie. I hadn’t even heard about them until I read about them in GL a month ago! However, this article was so fun to read, and it made me like them as people. {I haven’t really formed an opinion about their music yet.} I do like British accents ;)

report cards
With the anticipation of report cards and vacation, the last few periods of the day seemed to go on forever. But, with only a few minutes left, I was handed my report card and I was very pleased! I don’t usually talk about accomplishments like this, bu
t a high average deserves to be mentioned :) There’s nothing better than a few 100′s to start your vacation!

national scrabble day!
Um, let’s just say that I play Scrabble by my own terms. It’s the same with Bananagrams :) Nonetheless, I love the fact that there is actually a National Scrabble Day! It is celebrated today in the honor of the creator’s birthday. I hope to squeeze a game in there, but the celebration could totally extend over the weekend. Will you be playing a round today? Psst… Have you checked out this Designer Edition of Scrabble? Typography + Scrabble. I’m sold. Psst, again… April 13th is also Trisaidekaphobia Day. Try spelling that five times fast. {It’s the fear of the number 13}

april vacation
This week went by way too slowly. It finally ended, though, which means I’m officially on April vacation! I can sleep in a little, catch up on my Smash and The Amazing Race, and hang out with my friends, without the stress of school and the one-act play. {It’s coming up soon!} Maybe even a movie thrown in for added fun? Oh, and it’s the perfect chance to shop and read a little, as well. I know spring break varies across the country, but if you are on it now, what are your plans for April vacay?
