Hello!
I’m loving…
these free valentine’s day cards
Valentine’s Day has snuck up on me this year! It must be that there are no classroom celebrations to prepare for :) I remember spending a good chunk of my morning addressing a card to every. single. person in my class. None of the store-bought ones can compare with the large amount of handmade cards floating around on the internet lately, especially Pinterest. So far, these are my favorites, mostly because of the classic puns. The color combination is one of my favorites, and I love how turquoise is being used more and more for Valentine’s Day. It pairs so nicely with the strawberry pinks and deep reds! They are all so adorable, but I think my favorite would be “I’m Wild About You!” How could you not fall in love with that little monster?

this heart garland
I know I posted a Fernweh craft last week, but I couldn’t help but share Carlotta’s paint chip heart garland! When I saw this, I knew it would be perfect for adding some V-Day cheer to my locker. With no paint chips available, I used an array of scrapbook papers, and I am so happy with the result! Unfortunately, I didn’t think to snap a picture, but I can tell you it is currently residing in my locker next to my American Girl calendar. {This month is penguins. Hehe :)} It is very quick and easy to make, just in case you were wondering. The craft shouldn’t take longer than thirty minutes!

these doll-sized {and fake} cookies
Pippaloo has and always will be my go-to place for American Girl food. As you may know, I am obsessed with all things miniature, so I became giddy when the Etsy shop listed countless Valentine’s Day treats. It is hard to tell the difference between the doll version and the actual cookies! The desserts are SO detailed, right down to the teeny sprinkles on the sugar cookies! I guess other people had the same opinion, because they are all sold out :( However, I’m sure Pippaloo has plenty in store for the spring months!

teen vogue march 2012 *
Let me begin by saying, I <3 Teen Vogue‘s frequent mailings. I can expect a new issue almost every month! Last Friday, my March issue came {they do come early!} and although I could care less about the Jenner sisters, I was pleased with the magazine. Some highlights include…
- The Hunger Games stories! It was refreshing to see the other actors in the movie, besides Jennifer Lawrence :) I already plan to read Catching Fire and Mockingjay over February break!
- The “Game On” spread. I loved the mixture of sports and style, and there were plenty of pieces I would wear.
- The “Spring Fashion Hit List.” Besides the fact that it was organized, Teen Vogue provided helpful insights into spring’s trends!

these doodles
If you downloaded my Doll School Set, you would know I am a fan of Miss Tiina’s clip art. In my opinion, they are some of the cutest picture online, and I often download her freebies. Her latest set, “Hello Love,” isn’t free, but how I wish it was! I can’t help but smile at the birdies and kids on the cloud. Weird. I know.
Bella :)
